SUMMARY:Peer Mentoring Course (Level 2 Award in Progression)
DESCRIPTION:Our Mentoring course is a Level 2 accredited course. This course trains people to become Peer Mentors – positive role models of recovery who have a presence within the recovery service. They support the delivery of education\, therapeutic and peer support based groups. The course covers subjects such as what mentoring is\, relationships and boundaries within mentoring\, mentoring techniques and much more. This course is the foundation to becoming a Peer Mentor or Recovery Support Volunteer within the service and for our Recovery Connector roles within The Academy. The Mentoring course is delivered through taught sessions at The Wellbeing Hub.  Abstinence is required for this course.
