Accessibility to our services

Nottingham Recovery Network is committed to making our services available to anyone who wants support with their drug and alcohol use. Our building is wheelchair accessible, with disabled toilets on the ground floor and lifts to all levels of the Wellbeing Hub.

We have access to translators and a hearing loop and practitioners trained in mental health first aid to make your initial assessment and following treatment as comfortable as possible. On-site speech and language therapists regularly review literature and signage and can provide easy read materials on request.

You are welcome to call us, make an online referral, or come into the hub during our drop in hours – whatever works best for you.

If you struggle with getting to Nottingham City Centre for appointments, our Digital Doorway to Change pathway could be suitable. This service lets you access our services from the comfort of your own home. Please contact us to find out if you are eligible for this pathway.

We recognise that all accessibility needs will not be covered by the above and if you have any questions or require further support, you can contact us on 0800 066 5362 or email us at info@nottinghamrecoverynetwork.com and we will do our best to meet your requirements.

Web Accessibility

This website is run by Full Phat Design. It has been tested against the WAVE web accessibility evaluation tool.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

We recognise that some parts of this website may not be fully accessible. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact info@nottinghamrecoverynetwork.com.
