Talk to us in confidence about…
Recovery support
Recovery is an individual journey, and it can mean different things to different people.
There are a number of online tools that can help people on their recovery journey. We also run regular groups and offer employment support for people who are being supported by our teams.
Our Academy aims to support individual and collective recovery through learning, training, mentoring and volunteering in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Are you concerned about a friend or family member’s substance use?
We can help you. We offer support to family members, carers and friends of people facing substance use issues.
This could be via one-to-one sessions, group sessions or online support.

We all know to avoid offensive language around substance use, but did you know that even small word choices can make a big difference?
Using person-first language helps reduce stigma and empower individuals in recovery. 💙
Want to help spread the word? Download our Inclusive Language flyer at the link in bio. 📄

🌱Recovery isn't just about stopping behaviours, it's about starting something new.
At NRN, we know how important it can be to build a sense of self away from drugs and alcohol. That's why we created our community rehab offering: a place where you can go on local outings and explore new interests such as music, arts and crafts or gardening - all while building skills, friendships and confidence. 🎶🎨

On Sunday 7th September, phones across the UK will sound a loud siren and vibrate — even on silent.
While these alerts are meant to keep everyone safe, they could unintentionally put some people at risk, especially victim-survivors of domestic abuse who rely on hidden phones.
✅ You can opt out of this test.
Swipe to learn how to disable these alerts, or visit the gov.uk website for more information: www.gov.uk/alerts/opting-out

Did you know? Mixing cocaine & alcohol creates a toxic drug called cocaethylene – raising the risk of heart attack, stroke & sudden death.
Last Friday in West Bridgford, Operation Cognition brought together representatives from NRN’s Clean Slate, CGL, Nottinghamshire Police, Nottingham City Council and Public Health England to raise awareness and offer support.
👉 Most people we spoke to had never heard of cocaethylene – but many admitted they had mixed cocaine and alcohol before. These conversations are saving lives.
