Talk to us in confidence about…
Recovery support
Recovery is an individual journey, and it can mean different things to different people.
There are a number of online tools that can help people on their recovery journey. We also run regular groups and offer employment support for people who are being supported by our teams.
Our Academy aims to support individual and collective recovery through learning, training, mentoring and volunteering in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Are you concerned about a friend or family member’s substance use?
We can help you. We offer support to family members, carers and friends of people facing substance use issues.
This could be via one-to-one sessions, group sessions or online support.

Monday marks the start of this year's carers week, where we recognise and celebrate the important work that unpaid carers do for others. 🌷
This year, we are holding an open day at Cafe Sobar for anyone who is supporting a loved one with substance use issues.
Come along on Wednesday 11th June to find out more about how NRN can help you as part of their recovery journey, or just join us for a cup of tea and a chat. 🍵

🌟 Introducing The Little Book of Hope 🌟
If you or someone you care about is struggling with drugs or alcohol, you are not alone. 💚 There’s a strong network of support across Nottingham – and we’ve put it all in one place.
The Little Book of Hope is an online magazine that signposts to drug and alcohol support services in Nottingham City. It features real stories from people who have accessed these services and information on how to get help.
This resource is the result of a citywide partnership including Nottingham City Council, Double Impact, Al-Hurraya, NHS and more. We are super proud to be a part of it.
Let’s keep building a community of care, hope, and recovery.

Exciting news! 🚍🎨🌿
We’ve launched our new and improved 6-week Structured Day Programme — packed with peer and group sessions, free travel support, and unique experiences like canal boat trips and garden projects.
For those who prefer a more flexible approach, we have our Pick & Mix pathway where participants can choose which activities or groups they would like to join.
Just ask Mark, who has started the SDP after enjoying the Pick & Mix. He loved his recent trip so much he’s now volunteering with Canal & River Trust

Our stall was looking its best at Nottingham's PCDC event! 😍
It was amazing meeting so many GPs and healthcare professionals who were interested in learning how to best support clients and patients with their drug and alcohol use. Thank you to anyone who came and spoke to us or took resources home with them. 🙏
If you have a health promotion event you'd like us to attend, we'd love to hear from you! Just drop us an email at info@nottinghamrecoverynetwork.com to see what we can offer. 📧

This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we're shining a light on the power of community.💜
Mental health and substance use often show up together—and that’s okay. You're not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. At Nottingham Recovery Network, we take a whole-person approach, supporting both your mental health and your recovery, side by side.🤝
Many of our services offer group support and therapies, so you can navigate your journey alongside others who truly understand. We also give advice and support to family members and carers to reduce the impact of drug and alcohol-related harm on family life. 🏡
NRN works with a number of partners across Nottingham City to ensure we are providing the best possible care that we can. Swipe to see more and figure out what service is best for you.👉 ... See MoreSee Less
