Talk to us in confidence about…
Recovery support
Recovery is an individual journey, and it can mean different things to different people.
There are a number of online tools that can help people on their recovery journey. We also run regular groups and offer employment support for people who are being supported by our teams.
Our Academy aims to support individual and collective recovery through learning, training, mentoring and volunteering in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Are you concerned about a friend or family member’s substance use?
We can help you. We offer support to family members, carers and friends of people facing substance use issues.
This could be via one-to-one sessions, group sessions or online support.

At Nottingham Recovery Network, recovery is for everyone. We know that Dyslexia and other communication needs can sometimes create barriers to accessing support — and we’re committed to breaking those down. 💙
Dyslexia doesn’t just affect reading and writing; it can impact memory, focus, and organisation too. Everyone’s experience is different, which is why we work with your individual strengths and needs. 💪
If you feel Dyslexia or any other communication need may affect your recovery journey, let us know — we’ll do our best to make adjustments so you feel supported every step of the way. 🎇 ... See MoreSee Less

"It took me six years to come into the service. I was too ashamed to speak about my child's addiction. Now, I can't imagine coping without it."
As we near the end of Recovery Month, we wanted to shine a light on the people in the background, doing everything they can to support the recovery of a loved one.
Substance use can have a huge impact on family, friends, and peers of the person struggling. Our Family and Carers service provides a safe space for them to talk about how they feel, with others who understand first-hand what they are going through.
You're not alone in this 👩❤️👨 read more about the service and what it can offer you on our website. ... See MoreSee Less

Did you know that September is Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Month?
FASD is more common than you might think - up to 1 in 20 people have it. When talking about substance use, FASD must be part of the story so that we can break down stigma, increase access to care, and improve outcomes for all. 📈
Pregnant people should be prioritised in recovery services, not punished or shamed. At NRN we have connections with specialist midwives to support pregnant people struggling with substance use and help them work towards a healthy future for their family. 🤰
If you drink alcohol regularly it is really important that you do not stop doing so abruptly - withdrawal can be dangerous and even life threatening.
Let us support you. Recovery is possible. 💜 ... See MoreSee Less
