A learning plan for you

We are a recovery community where everyone feels like they belong, and also a safe space for people in recovery to connect with others who have lived through similar experiences.

Our team develop personalised plans depending on individual learning needs and aspirations and work collaboratively with clients, aiming to create a positive recovery environment for all.

We can also provide space for people to address their substance use and offending behaviour, and reduce reoffending through connecting with others in recovery.

We aim to empower individuals to help them sustain their recovery and enjoy fulfilled and meaningful lives.

Types of support available at The Academy

One-to-one support and recovery planning

Clients are linked with Academy Supervisors who have regular contact with them. The focus is on support and goal development, and a personalised recovery plan is created for each client to support their recovery goals and aspirations.

Maths and English support

The Academy offers educational opportunities to help increase knowledge and skills, including Maths and English sessions.

The sessions support people to:

  • Access online resources for Maths and English
  • Reduce the fear and anxiety that can be associated with these subjects.

A personalised plan enables each client to improve their Maths and English skills at their own pace.

Developing these essential skills helps clients to increase their confidence and fulfil their potential whether it be in an educational or professional manner.
