Digital Skills sessions are aimed at all levels of learners and focus on practical uses of digital resources (computers, tablets, Smartphones and the internet) in everyday life. This could include:

  • Music Group

    Music Therapy

    A fun-loving group where people can come together to make/listen to music as a way of expression and connection.

  • Peer Mentoring Course (Level 2 Award in Progression)

    The Wellbeing Hub - Group Room 1

    Our Mentoring course is a Level 2 accredited course. This course trains people to become Peer Mentors – positive role models of recovery who have a presence within the recovery service. They support the delivery of education, therapeutic and peer support based groups. The course covers subjects such as what mentoring is, relationships and boundaries

  • Structured Abstinence Group (SAG)

    A six session sequential group which requires a period of abstinence in the community.  The  sessions introduce the 12 step approach alongside CBT techniques to support clients in maintaining long term abstinence.

  • SMART Recovery (Open to all)

    A national, external mutual aid organisation facilitated through NRN but open to anyone.  They offer rolling weekly meetings using a science-based therapeutic programme to support people in their recovery goals.

  • Acceptance & Commitment Training

    A six session rolling group, this group offers an introduction to the ACT Principles focusing on behaviour and how this related to our values.  It teaches us to notice behaviour, consider challenges and how to use the pause button.

  • Living the Middle Path (Invite Only)

    This is a 9 sessions programme where clients are invited initially to have an information sessions and complete a screening assessment which supports the completion of the modules,  Each of the modules covers 2 sessions and is Dialectal behaviour therapy informed.  Dialectal behavioural therapy 'Dialectical' means trying to understand how two things that seem opposite

  • Creative Writing

    This rolling weekly peer based writing session  is for clients who are looking to explore their creativity through the use of the written and spoken word. Anyone with any experience or not is welcome, just a keenness to explore is required.
